Assessment of submissions is undertaken by the Public Fund Management Committee, which assigns funding to assist projects where the primary objectives are to protect, present, conserve or rehabilitate tropical rainforest, its flora and fauna.

Special consideration is given to collaborative or partnership approaches, where Skyrail Rainforest Foundation funding enhances the outcomes and intrinsic value of a project.

Current Opportunities

From time to time, organisations and/or individuals are invited to submit applications for funding for projects that meet the Foundation's objectives.

These opportunities are promoted on this website, at applicable times throughout the year. The next invitation for Expressions of Interest for funding will be announced in late 2008.
